Common questions
Licenses
Are these prices for a single game or annual subscription?
The pricing for Starter and Professional games are for single-use games. Please contact us to inquire about annual subscriptions.
Do you offer yearly subscriptions with multiple or unlimited games?
Yes, we do! Please contact us to inquire about our annual subscription options.
What’s the difference between the free version and the paid version?
The only difference is the number of participants allowed per game. Other than that, you will have access to all of our features regardless of the license you have. Please contact us if you require more than 20 teams or individual players.
How big can my GooseChase game be?
Our platform is built to scale! You can have as many participants as you require in your game. Please contact us if you need more participants than the amounts listed above.
Gameplay
How long can my game last?
It’s up to you! We recommend considering your event goals - longer is not always better! Please look at this blog post describing the different game lengths to determine which is the best fit for you. If you have additional questions, please reach out to us through our website’s chat box or email us at hi@goosechase.com.
What’s the difference between a game and a mission?
A game is created by you and joined by players. Missions are the tasks within the game that players complete to earn points.
How do players join my game?
GooseChase games are played using the GooseChase App on an iOS or Android device. Players can choose to play as a guest or create an account and quickly join your game with a unique game code. Full details on how to join a game can be found here.
Can you help me create missions and run my game?
Unfortunately, we do not create your game for you. That doesn’t mean you’re not supported! We have tons of resources available that will help you through each step of the way. Take a look at Getting Started with GooseChase for a step-by-step guide for creating your game. Or visit the FAQ for additional answers to common questions!
How long does it take to create a GooseChase?
Tricky question! Creating your game depends on what you are trying to accomplish. We have seen smaller games built within 20 minutes and larger, long-term games that take up to a few weeks to plan and organize - it all depends on your event!
